Outreach to the Graduates
Most of the graduates of the orphanages don't know how to survive on their own they are not prepared or tote to take care of them self. The statistics are frightening. Over 80% of the graduates become, unemployed and homeless, 40% get in trouble with the law and commit crimes and 20% commit suicide.
To reach to the graduates and help them to find their place in the future, we are partnering with local churches and are working very close with our camp volunteers. Most of the graduates have NO ONE who could help them and the government pretty much washes their hands when the kids turn 18 years old. But it is a tremendous opportunity for the Christians to step in and be the big brother or a sister they never had. Hundreds of graduates who where counseled and help by Little Lambs are strong Christian today and many of them work with Little Lambs in the camps to reach out to other orphans. They are true blessing to all of us who met them.
Little Lambs Ministry staff is providing counseling, scholarships and some housing.
